Oscar fashion

I know there were mixed reviews but I LOVED the Oscars this year!  I thought the opening was beautiful, old-Hollywood glamour!  I even loved Doogie’s song and dance and I’ve never liked him!  The stage was gorgeous and it all fit my style, I just loved it!

I thought most everyone looked great, my favorite was Sarah Jessica Parker.  I loved the vintage haute couture Chanel gown and the big, bold updo.  So 60’s glam, and we all know I’m obsessed with anything 60’s right now!

I also loved Zoe Saldana.  I loved the sparkle of the top of her dress, the ruffles were definitely big, but I thought they were still beautiful!  She’s so gorgeous, she can pull off anything!

I especially loved her shoes!  They were awesome!

I thought Demi Moore looked fabulous in her frothy, peach gown, Sandra Bullock looked like a true Oscar winner (so happy she won!) and Mariah Carey didn’t really look trashy for the first time in years!

Some misses for me were Charlize Theron, I didn’t like the cinnaboob dress at all, and I almost always love her style.

And the young stars drove me crazy!  Miley’s dress was cute but she ruined it repeatedly all evening by slouching.  I wanted to poke her in the shoulder blades every time I saw her!

And Kristin Stewart just looked mad all evening.  Her dress was beautiful, she’s a rising new star (though not sure why) got to make out with Edward, I mean Robert Pattinson countless times and most young women the world over want to be her, good reasons to be mad!

All in all, I loved the show!  And I made it through the whole thing, which must be a sign I’m getting old, I’ve never made it through an awards show before!  And I have a whole list of movies I now want to go see!
Hooray for Hollywood!!!
